Eat more leafy greens
I usually eat a salad every day. I make them using organic leafy greens, some fruit, and protein like meat. The goal of my salad it to have it look like a rainbow of color. The more colors the better. This morning I was researching a problem that I was having with some plumbing in a bathroom remodel in my home. Youtube suggested this video about eating an avocado every day. Well, I have been eating a lot of avocados over the last few years so I decided to share it with you.
What makes a good salad
You can add mostly low glycemic fruit like berries @ 1/4 c, most fruit has too much sugar to consume daily, organic of course. Here’s a simple tip to keep your berries from molding… soak 7 minutes in a water bath with 2T white vinegar as soon as you get them home. Rinse and place in a glass bowl lined with a paper towel at the bottom. This will kill mold already present & prevent future growth or just buy frozen, organic berries.
