Functional Doctor

I talk a lot about functional doctors when I discuss health issues with my friends.  Below is information about the doctor that my wife +Sylvia Wormley found in Atlanta, GA.  I have found her advice and treatment very beneficial to my overall health and my ability to improve my cycling strength.

Dr. Elizabeth Board

Dr. Elizabeth Board is the second Medical Doctor in Georgia to become board certified by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFMCP)! There are only three  IFMCPs in the state of Georgia!! She is also the founder of Atlanta Functional Medicine located in Alpharetta, Georgia.  Dr. Board  is a highly trained physician, not only in Functional Medicine, but also in Pain Management, Medical Acupuncture, Anesthesiology, and Neuro-Endo-Immune Certified.
After practicing as a Pain Management Physician, Dr. Board developed an interest in alternative methods of bringing about pain relief without placing patients on large doses of drugs that lead to dependence or cause sedation. It was this common interest that led Dr. Board to join Dr. Christine Gustafson at Alpharetta Integrative Medicine.
